The screw-on resistance thermometer enables temperature measurements in many areas of air conditioning technology due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special housing design. The housing with protection class IP54 is made of PP plastic. The resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for temperature measurements in rooms or outdoors. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (Class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in two-wire circuit and is designed for temperatures from -20 to +80 °C.
