Special tool set for mounting spark plugs with extension and cable (fixed) - as with MWM® , MOTORTECH® BEX and ONE pre-chamber spark plugs.
The tightening of spark plugs with the wrong torque is the most common failures of spark plugs installation. If spark plugs are over torqued, damage occurs inside the spark plug, which leads to heat transfer problems of the spark plug. Spark plugs that are attracted with too little torque, cannot transfer heat and start to glow and at worst can even explode. In both cases, this is very easy to prevent by using the correct tool and torque.
The set includes a torque wrench with a working range between 20 and 60 Nm. Since the setting range is very low, it makes this torque wrench a precision tool with a deviation of +/- 3%. In addition, a re-rotation to the smallest scale value is no longer required. Easy scale reading due to laser labeled scale at 0,5Nm.
Nm min-max: 10-60 Nm Tolerance: 3% square 12.5 mm (1/2 inch)
The set includes a special nut with slot, preventing the cable getting damaged while it gets torqued with the precision tools.

A thread cleaner is also part of the set. The cleaning of the cylinder head thread and the seat is very often underestimated and trivialized. This is a serious error which, unfortunately, very often has major consequences. The cleaning tool cleans thread and seat in one operation.
