Catalytic converters

When a cogeneration plant is operated for energy or heat generation, many pollutants dust, methane or formaldehyde. Catalytic converters play a key role here. They make an important contribution to environmental protection by reducing emissions. This is achieved by reducing the activation energy, which increases the reaction rate. Responsible for the reduction of the activation energy are chemicals, which fall under the term catalysts. Above all, this benefits the statutory thresholds. The production of formaldehyde must not be higher than 30 mg / Nm, for example. For a catalyst to work long and effectively, regular cleaning is required.
